Project overview

New construction of a data center facility in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 2,100,000-square-foot data center facility. Construction of a hyperscale data center campus planned on approximately 555 acres. The campus will contain 7 buildings, including three substations to power the data center complex. The campus is intended for large-scale cloud computing and digital infrastructure uses. Planned capacity: 894 MW TIMELINE: As of October 27, 2026, the Spotsylvania County Planning Commission recommended the approval of a new data center campus. The application remains subject to further county review and final action by the Board of Supervisors. Information in regard to an architect and a general contractor have not been disclosed.
