Project overview

Site work and new construction of a data center facility in La Porte, Indiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a 245,000-square-foot, one-story above grade data center facility. Project consists of new construction of a 245,000 square foot data center on 489 acres at the Radius Industrial Park in La Porte. The first phase will include 6 data centers plus a substation on the initial plot. As of April 2026, Microsoft is seeking rezoning approval for adjacent property next to the existing site, to be developed at a later date. Conceptual plans show 17 buildings across land bounded by East 250 South, East State Road 4, and Stevens Road. Construction on Buildings 1-3 is expected to continue through the end of 2027, with the data centers anticipated to be completed in 2029. Site preparation began in March 2026 and continues through summer 2026. While a groundbreaking was held June 17, 2026, information regarding the architect, general contractor, and method of selection has not been disclosed.
