Working plans call for the construction of a 32,000-square-foot, 252-unit multi-residential development; and retail development. John Guedes and Primrose Companies are proposing a transit-oriented mixed-use development on a former Riverside Apartments site in Ansonia. The project includes three five-story buildings containing 152 apartments, 100 condominiums, approximately 32,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space, parking for nearly 600 vehicles, and a 2-acre park. The development is pending planning and zoning approval and could begin construction as early as spring 2027.
